The Iguá Group constantly seeks coherence and balance with commitment, integrity, transparency, governance and sustainability, respecting social and ethical standards in the conduct of its business.

The Integrity Program is a fundamental part of the company’s structure and development and is part of the Company’s culture and DNA, in addition to representing the Group’s position regarding adherence to laws and regulations and internal guidelines regarding issues related to corruption, data protection and diversity, in order to promote, strengthen and disseminate an ethical culture at all hierarchical levels of the Company, including advisors and committee members, business partners, suppliers and customers.

Our individual actions influence the Company’s culture and reputation, so it is important that each of us follows the path of what is correct, our actions determine our character, therefore, it is everyone’s role to act with honesty and transparency to ensure that the Grupo Iguá continues to be an ethical company.

Pillars

Iguá works on Compliance based on three pillars that guide the system and promote ethical and honest attitudes in our routine. They are: Prevention, Detection and Correction.

  • Prevention: it is the most important pillar. In addition to verifying imminent risks to the business, it is linked to the establishment of policies and procedures that are supported by constant communications and training for employees, suppliers and business partners.
  • Detection: reported suspicions are investigated with the aim of clarifying the facts and promoting the truth. The process is conducted with complete confidentiality and respect for those involved.
  • Remedy: is the consequence of the second pillar – Detection. Identified failures or possible inappropriate attitudes must be corrected immediately and, when appropriate, disciplinary action will be applied.

Reporting structure

The topic of Compliance is a high priority for Grupo Iguá, which is why the Compliance area reports directly to the Internal Audit Committee and Board of Directors.

At Iguá, we are always working to ensure that our business is carried out ethically and based on our internal values. And to assist in the daily fulfillment of these objectives, we count on the support of the areas of Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance and Internal Audit and Business Intelligence (GRC-AI).

Integrity Program

The Program aims to prevent and/or identify conduct that does not comply with the rules (legislation, regulations, standards and procedures, external or internal), identifying risks and/or causes and acting preventively and/or correctively, also promoting a culture that encourages compliance with established rules and ethical conduct, guided by the principle that doing what is right is best.

Code of conduct and policies

To ensure corporate compliance and integrity across all its businesses, Iguá has developed policies that support expected standards of behavior. All of our policies and procedures require employees, suppliers and partners to act in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable to the business and the company’s internal guidelines.

Ethics Channel

We also have a Reporting Channel, which is open to all employees and external audiences (third parties, customers and the community) who wish to report any irregularity. Impartial and transparent, the channel guarantees the confidentiality and secrecy of information, preserving the identity of the people involved and collaborates to promote
a better environment for everyone.
